Bird diversity/richness at Walgett & Brewarrina
This project investigates the use of PAM to assess bird diversity, activity, and potential indicator species in relation to cat and dog management. Acoustic data collected using AudioMoth recorders, alongside camera traps and household surveys, will be used to evaluate monitoring methods and develop workflows combining BirdNET, Perch, and custom recognisers for biodiversity assessment and conservation.
